A Zimbabwean Man is on the run after allegedly crashing a hired car into a kerb in Leeds.

The driver fled the wreckage, leaving police officers guessing last night.
He had been driving the car in Dewsbury road at around midnight when his car hit a kerb before spinning and landing on its roof.
The impact of the crash was such that the roof was flattened into such shape on-lookers expressed doubts anyone could have survived.
An Ambulance rescue team (video) dispatched to the scene found no sign of human life inside the vehicle.
Police shut the road temporarily as emergency services dealt with the aftermath looking for possible casualties.
Officers confirmed the vehicle was a hired car.
