As the First Lady Grace Mugabe illegally offloaded a hundred zebras onto the Manzou farm she grabbed from poor black farmers last week, it has emerged the UK government has become unnerved by her activities.
Last week Grace defied two High Court orders and violently removed small scale farm beneficiaries of the Manzou farm-fields, a move that has led Lawyers for Human Rights to stand in for the victims in an urgent High Court chamber application.
In the latest country analysis, the British government indicated it is highly concerned by Grace Mugabe’s violations beginning with her October threats to shed blood.
“We are particularly concerned by incidents of reported hate speech used by the First Lady Grace Mugabe,” a government announcement read.
It continued, “On 6 October, Grace Mugabe was quoted as saying that she would “spill blood” if anyone attempted to remove her from her Mazowe farm, illegally appropriated from a white commercial farm owner
“We continue to remain concerned by the general lack of respect for the rule of law in Zimbabwe, particularly over property rights and security of land tenure
“Individuals, particularly those with a high profile, remain encouraged to take the law into their own hands
“The UK government remains concerned about politically-inspired violence and harassment, repressive legislation and limited media freedom
“Progress to align legislation with the constitution remains disappointingly slow and limited to less sensitive areas
” We are concerned by the continued use of oppression by police to stop legitimate peaceful protests and to limit freedom of expression.”

  1. So its ok for Grace to remove people from land and it was not ok when white did it. Inga zvakaoma kuti Grace is doing exactly the same thing that drove Zimbabweans to war. Changing the colour of imperialism does not make it right.

  3. Your weak statement; “it is not fair if that’s what Grace has done” can only hoodwink the gullible.
Much of what you wrote is criticizing the British and yet what Grace is doing is exactly what the colonialists did. Evil is evil no matter who does it.

  5. No white man owns any land in Zimbabwe so Grace was right to take from any white man in the first place as the white people illegally settled in Zimbabwe 1896 up to the time they were dislodged by the rightful owners . As for removing other black settlers , it is not fair if that’s what Grace has done . The British also have no right to interfere in our internal affairs and never intervened when their kith & kin illegally occupied our territory . They have no shame but just want a lame excuse to slap further sanctions on the country . We will never retreat on the land issue as it is ours and ours forever . This is the best thing that ever happen to colonized people all, over the world . A once in a lifetime feat and Mugabe is hated for inflicting this on those who occupied us . This is the British & American bone of contention that Mugabe set a precedence that is dangerous to them and all those who illegally occupied territories all over the globe .

  7. This is a build up to the refusing of total removal of sanctions on Zim due to be reviewed next month. Although of cause we admit Graces’s intransigence

  9. Mugabe does not care about “concerns”. The British can express these “concerns” a trillion times or every second for a decade he wont bother. Its action by every one who genuinely believes in freedom, democracy, human rights, and the rule of law that can stop the first family and their supporter’s brutality against the people. Such weak statements like “we are concerned” have no significance although some appreciate them.
