Harare preacher who last year suffered a brain tumour (CLICK HERE TO READ MORE) is said to have been healed after releasing a book on Finances.
Uebert Angel released his book titled, “What God Told me About Money,” on Friday.
He appeared in a photograph hands-in-pocket standing behind a banner advertising the book.
Efforts to obtain a comment from his UK office were fruitless at the time of writing. He relocated to the United Kingdom seeking vital medical attention last year.

The gospel of prosperity says to take from the poor and gullible and give to the so called man of god who in this case is amassing wealth whereas the generosity giving says for the rich to give to the poor and needy.

a.) write a book with a catchy title so that many gullible people buy it
b.) offer a crash course training in how to be a “prophet” at a fee of $500 per person
c.) offer anointing oil for free but to get the oil you have to 1st buy over-priced CDs or other church paraphernalia
d.) relentlessly preach “the more you give to the ‘man of God’, the more you’ll receive”
e.) charge a fee for the chairs & sofas that people sit on during service

You’re not being sincere & honest when you say “I think I have found the kingdom”. Serving God is a LIFE-LONG thing so how do you claim that you’ve “arrived”??!!

Well said!! The Bible clearly says you cannot serve both God and mammon [money]. These false prophets who thrive on the prosperity gospel give the impression that giving to them is the same as giving to God; this is simply NOT true at all!! Instead of using what people give to assist widows, orphans, and other disadvantaged people these charlatans run a fleet of cars and wear different designer suits for each day of the month. When they engage in charity work, they ensure that it’s all done in a blaze of media publicity, yet the Bible clearly says true giving should be done in SECRET!!

Abraham was blessed here on earth not just in heaven. If u don’t understand prosperity do what you believe in. Pple didn’t repent this that its not for you but for God to judge. I repent before the Lord not man, pple worship him in truth and in spirit and he bless them. When God bless the farmers he still expect them to sow the seed just like prosperity believers they have to invest, start bussiness etc and God will bless. As long you stand right with God prosperity is inevitable mice go asingadi

But I gotta hand it all to this Angel guy, he knows how to milk every cent that you think you can keep to yourself. From the title of the book, the natural thing for a gullible person to do is to buy the book to really see the answer to, what did God really tell this man about money?

Munhu all the riches that Christ preached about were spiritual riches. The unsearcheable riches that are only found in Christ. We cannot get our heads around this because we have taken the church-which is spiritual-and made it into an earthly thing which it can never be. we are clearly told to, ‘seek first the kingdom of heaven and then all these other things shall be added to you.” We are not to seek those things; we seek God first and then He provides. He knows what we need to live. It is us that put the cart before the horse. I understand that in Zimbabwe it is hard: poverty is all around us. The lord says there needs to be repentance first in this nation before restoration. We are all ignoring that call. we want all God’s blessings but we don’t want our flesh to be nailed to the cross of Christ and to die to self. Do you hear the message of repentance? Do you see a Godly nation? do you see the fruit of repentance? Do you see individuals and collective groups weeping in broken hearted repentance for their sin and the sin of this nation. We are where we are today because of our sin. until we see that and repent we ware likely to stay in penury unless we make money bribing and through corruption; but then God’s judgment will catch up with us. The riches are fleeting. Jesus, Paul and the Apostles never preached a worldly prosperity message EVER!

I have been seeking the Kingdom and i think i have found the Kingdom. I have done the first thing, is it bad if i go for the second? Even preaching repentance is prosperity because kuenda kudenga kupfuma, the same God who relocated the children of Israel from Egypt for MILK and HONEY is the same God who had instructed Abraham to leave his forefathers land to go to his own land that he would show him, the same God who instructs His prophets for this age to get people out of poverty. Kupfuma hakumborina mweya wetsvina hama dzangu, its only that you expect politicians to address that but it is something for the church to address.

It is about come to God and receive His Son: Christ in us our hope of glory. The prosperity gospel is a carnal, fleshly and worldly gospel. It leads people far from the Lord. When the rich young ruler came to Jesus, Jesus immediately confronted him with the cross. He knew that money was an idol in that young mans heart and Jesus told him to give his riches to the poor and follow Him. Sadly the young man turned away. Stop following money and things. Seek the Lord and all these other things will be taken care of. What a waste of time for a Christian to write a book on money!
