Secret ZANU PF documents obtained Thursday reveal that Morgan Tsvangirai is now part of the ZANU PF constitution body politique.
The leaking of the documents follows the sudden ouster of former vice president Joice Mujuru and most recently the expelling of MPs loyal to Tendai Biti, as ZANU seeks to re-establish its foothold in the country.
One of the documents points to Morgan Tsvangirai and two other opposition leaders as “key to the ultimate implementation.”
The details have been corroborated with ZANU PF’s 28 year old spelt out master goal. It states on Number 6 that; ‘’Zanu Pf shall seek to establish a ONE-PARTY STATE in Zimbabwe.’’
COMMENT:
Zanu never overruled its desire to set up a one-party state in any of its Congresses ever since 1987 and beyond. To achieve its One Party state desire, it has always used all possible means to destroy opposition parties; swallowed its liberation rivalry Zapu after emasculating it through Gukurahundi atrocities. It never took long to get rid of all other parties such as Zanu Ndonga, UANC, ZUM, etc. Before its split in 2005, MDC mounted a spirited challenge upon but Zanu was able use Tsvangirayi and turn him into a dictator that fellow leaders were would not hesitate to run away from. This culminated in MDC now led by Prof Ncube, the then MDC 99 led by Job Sikhala and MDC Renewal. The killer jaw towards its pursuance of a One Party state is its ensnaring MDC T into its fold through the recent sacking of MDC Renewal MPs. Zanu has been campaigning on the ground and displaying its political stamina whilst MDC T was engrained in anger against Renewal leadership.
Maybe Tsvangirayi deliberately handed over these seats to Zanu for all we know is that he never revoked his Zanu membership, or surrendered its membership card. Would it be correct then to assume that Tsvangirayi is still pursuing Zanu ideals whilst pretending to be an opposition leader? If not by choice, still one of the Zanu documents mention how leaders like him and other potential leaders are going to be strategically morphed and moulded into pseudo opposition figures who will maintain hostile faces, yet will be kept perpetually making secret deals with ZANU PF as revealed by its document. Morgan Tsvangirayi’s recent agreement with Prof Moyo has simply proved this. It would be naive to assume that Morgan not aware of Zanu’s long term intentions to establish a one party state because he was one of its middle leaders when the 1987 Unity Accord was signed.
If Morgan Tsvangirayi is really no longer a Zanu member, then the master-script found in President Robert Mugabe’s drawers and leaked yesterday by an insider anonymous whistleblower sympathising with Amai Mujuru, display Tsvangirai as the first trial product now firmly engrafted for the first serious stage of mobilisation. The meeting and agreement with Prof Moyo is a strong indicator that Morgan Tsvangirayi knows and is in agreement with Zanu’s long term goals to set a One Party state in Zimbabwe. He and his supporters may think otherwise, but did they not know that by sacking Renewal MPs they were handing nearly all these opposition seats to Zanu to enable it to turn the country into a One Party state? Indeed Zanu is happy to have a token seats kept by MDC T so that it camouflages Zimbabwe as being a One party state from the nosey international community. Zanu will always point to the pathetically few MDC T MPs as proof that it is a tolerant multi-democratic party.
As said the whistle-blower who availed the Zanu documents; in this Zanu – MDC T agreement that saw Renewal MPs sacked, concluded saying only “President Mugabe is the winner at the end of it all”. Analysts said this is all part of the Zanu /Zapu Unity Agreement that spels out what a united Zanu PF aims to achieve “into eternity”.
