At at time when Robert Mugabe’s ZANU PF is destroying itself through bitter purges, the MDC-T has firmly set its eyes on the upcoming 2018 elections beginning its first massive fund-raising shows in the United Kingdom.
A team of officials led by Secretary General Douglas Mwonzora are on their way to be in England early in July in preparation for a massive music gala fund-raiser in the posh city of Oxford, ZimEye.com can reveal.
Fund-raising has become vital after the ZANU PF government strangled the MDC parties by failing to release up to $3million of political party funds as allocated by the Constitution.
The trip has been facilitated by the MDC-T party’s most organised branch, Oxford, led by the prolific chairman Chrispen Chamburuka who has outshined many both within and outside Zimbabwe. Oxford has for years financed the MDC party from its cashbook including ensuring that the party retains Thabitha Khumalo’s Bulawayo East constituency.
Accompanying Mwonzora is Treasurer General Theresa Makone, Abednico Bhebhe, and Deputy Spokesperson, Thabitha Khumalo.
The function will be held on the 1st August, at the large Exeter Hall, Oxford, OX5 1AB(picture below)

Stupid MDC-T Leaders….leaving Zimbabweans behind going to fund raise in Europe….one day Mr Morgan Richard Tsvangirai is going to be the President in Europe….how can a Zimbabwean Politician going to Prepare 2018 Zimbabwean General Elections in Europe?….i never,never heard of European Politicians coming to Africa to prepare for their General Elections…..this is strange….leaving your Voters behind…………Poor Douglas Muwonzora………..

MDC -T is a perfect case-study in CONFUSION!!…they have been croaking that they won’t participate in elections until electoral reforms have been done; so who has given them assurances that these reforms will be done before 2018??!! Or is it a case of responding to the recent US criticism of election boycotts??!!
No Mwonzora MDC has failed us here in the diaspora. We do not want to see you here. You have squandered all the money that was raised for your lavish lifestyles. Go back to Zimbabwe. We the ordinary Zimbos are not going to contribute. You are just as corrupt as Zanu pf if not more corrupt. MDC you are now old news. We are surprised you cannot see it . Your leader is clueless. After dismissing the other MDC members from parliament we saw how stupid he is. Why is he still in a government house? How is he different from Zanu PF. 2018 we are not voting for you. We are waiting for the new party. You know which one we are talking about. You are out of the game Sir Mwonzora but of course you can enjoy the tube train courtesy of her majesty as long as you buy your ticket.
MDC-T is on record saying “No reform, no elections!” so what reforms have been carried out now?
MDC failed to get even one reform implemented during the GNU when the party had the golden opportunity to do so. Mugabe bamboozled and bribed the MDC leaders into kicking the reforms into the tall grass. MDC sold out during the GNU and party lost all political credibility; SADC and the international community have deserted MDC in droves including the party’s donors hence the UK fund raising.
MDC is a party of corrupt and incompetent individuals, it is not going anywhere. The party is now torn between demanding reforms and taking part in the elections with no reforms; just another example of the confusion one would expect in party led by village idiots!
It’s strange how all these Shona characters from the country that they are responsible for destroying in the first place, are drawn to the Western white world, in order to raise funds amongst their own kind who ALL ran away from Zimbabwe with their tails between their legs like cowardly dogs, to come and work for the white man in our country. The funny thing is that these ZANU savages operating here in England hate us white folk, yet love to live amongst us! What is it about you savages…do you honestly believe the MDC is any better than the ZANU PF savages. No! They are ALL “born thieves” and Zimbabwe will never be what it was when the white folk were in control of the economy. Look at them, they kick us out, steal our businesses and because they know they won’t survive on their own they beg the dirty Chinese and Russians in to do what the white folk did far better AND the white folk didn’t treat you Shona characters as the Chinese do! The Chinese despise you, for them it is about payback for supporting you pre 1980. It’s all coming back to bite you!!!!
