President Robert Mugabe has revealed that he has been humiliated having been deported as an illegal visitor when he flew into Ivory Coast on an official African Union visit. He said African leaders have refused to recognise his leadership on regional bodies at the prodding of the French government.
Mugabe told the central committee of the ruling Zanu-PF party on Friday that he’s been snubbed by regional leaders while serving as rotating chairman of the African Union (AU) and the Southern African Development Community (SADC).
In Ivory Coast, a former French colony, President Alassane Ouattara blocked Mugabe from entering the country after his plane landed at the airport, Mugabe revealed, without giving further details. He also did not indicate the exact date when this happened, while indications were that it took place this year 2015.
“The French are saying that Mugabe is a dangerous man and don’t work with him,” he said in the capital, Harare. “Britain is also trying to exert the same influence”, he added.
The 91-year-old leader has ruled Zimbabwe since the nation won independence from Britain in 1980.
Mugabe was re-elected in 2013 in polling the opposition described as fraudulent.

a country with some principles and integrity, Mugabe is a murderer and a thief who should of been in jail.
If you can believe this but Mugabe’s daughter who lives in 8 million dollar townhouse in Hong Kong is being investigated by Chinese financial crimes unit for money laundering and wire fraud for almost 100 million dollars .The Zimbabwean embassy has hired a high powered lawyer to defend her and her mother . The court date is at the end of the month .
