Zimbabwe’s Acting President Emmerson Mnangagwa is set on a mission to pull MDC supporters into his ZANU PF party, something which is his number one priority in order to restore the economy now that he is in the presidium, it has emerged.
Mnangagwa who has previously threatened to beat up all opposition part members deemed to have sold the country out, announced Tuesday he desires to pull over urban voters who are ‘genetically’ of the opposition.
He made the announcement to journalists saying with the ZANU PF congress now behind, the Zanu PF government is now faced with the challenge of putting food on the table and uplifting the standards of living of the ordinary people. Mnangagwa told the State Media ZANU PF’s economic development programme, ZIMASSET, provides the answer to various economic challenges bedevilling the country. He however vocally admitted that “the major task on the political front is that of mobilising” and winning the urban voters who in the last election remained under the influence of the opposition.
But his invitations are likely to go unnoticed as opposition members said they dread his having threatened to punish all who have been deemed to have sold out. “Wese anotengesa nyika ngaarobwe,” Mnangagwa loudly vocalised at a funeral last year.
The newly elevated Vice President has served the Zimbabwe government in various capacities since independence and was the Minister of Justice and Legal and Parliamentary Affairs before ascending to the vice presidency. He has to date continued to hold the Justice, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs portfolio.

  1. No one like Mnangagwa in ZANU PF???
Why does he think he will be successful in recruiting MDC supporters????

  2. This man never stops dreaming. People have NO confidence in this guy, he must just Stop fooling himself now!!

  3. Shumba ZANU PF hatiide ndeyemhondi neMbavha asi isu chatinogwarira kuMberengwa ibudiro kwete kuvuya kuZANU PF

  4. Oh really VP Mnanagagwa. And just how do you propose to do that. ZPF have alienated just about all Zimbabweans and you know it. There is no trust left. None! You need to prove yourself first. Repent before God and before Zimbabwe for the deep suffering ZPF have caused from 1980’s to now. You do need all Zimbabweans. And please stop threatening everyone. You woo a wife; you do not march her down the aisle with a gun to her head and her arm twisted behind her back. That is ZPF tactics. Totally ungodly. He calls it oppression!

  5. But Zanu has just lost half it’s supporters already, perhaps not to MDC, but to anyone else serious enough.

  6. What is he smoking….After what he did to defenceless people over the years , I feel like throwing up…If I was him I would urge zpf to consider going for elections in 2015. That way he will have our support. We have had enough of you people.are you all living in Mars or what, can’t you see the suffering of those around you.people are spending days without food, water, electricity. …etc the least is endless. ..

  7. Only a mentally retarded, a looter, a thief or a murderer can think of ever joining Zanupf after seeing what the party of Mnangagwa did to its comrades. No sane person can find a reason for joining that party.

  8. Would you board a sinking ship when all the rats are jumping off ???????????? !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  9. Its not like people have forgotten about 2008. Mnangagwa may already have spent the goodwill of the people of Zim in ensuring a Mugabe victory only to have none for his own election when he will need it most
