Expelled Hurungwe West MP Temba Mliswa has lashed out at ZANU PF rumours that he received assistance from ousted Mash West Chair Ziyambi Ziyambi.
In a statement, Mliswa denied any involvement with Ziyambi.
He explained while shockingly revealing that he funded his own opponent Keith Guzah so that he could defeat him. “Keith Guzha’s win in the Primary Elections, I even went on to assist him financially when he failed to remunerate his polling agents in the just ended election. I made him politically and now he is vying for the Provincial post as Chairman,” Mliswa said as he pierced the ears of his supporters(with those words) many who were brutalised by Guzah’s agents in the just ended bi elections.

“Nothing could be further from the truth and once again Mashonaland West cannot justify their own confused decision making without implementing me in the process. It is preposterous to fathom that the person who was instrumental in my ouster from the ZANU PF Provincial Chairmanship and then the ZANU PF Party itself is now the one disclosing election strategies to me.
“What strategies are there to be disclosed in the first place? The only strategies perennially deployed by the rogues of ZANU PF and that are common knowledge to all and sundry are those of violence, intimidation and the use of the State Security apparatus. Even if by some remote chance there may have been some new strategy or ‘secret’ how on earth could I have countered it having not had the chance to go on the ground and campaign?
“I have always been labelled as “Gamatox” and yet I am the one who appointed the entire Mashonaland West Provincial Executive, how were they then separated from my alliances? It is a fact that has always baffled me and example of how the term “Gamatox” was coined to purge the Party. It is no secret that I was the one who was key in Keith Guzha’s win in the Primary Elections, I even went on to assist him financially when he failed to remunerate his polling agents in the just ended election. I made him politically and now he is vying for the Provincial post as Chairman.
“I have alleged Ziyambi to have been in the forefront of the physical and brutal attacks in the just ended farce of a Hurungwe West by-election. I further singled out his perceived abuse of office as the reason why arrests were not being made in the Constituency and yet during the same time period we are purported to have been conspiring. It is unfortunate that this alleged sharing of information was not very effective or accurate as I would certainly have won in the election had that been the case.
“Relationships transcend beyond politics and I am human enough to be civil and polite when running into any person that I may not agree with politically. Surely that does not constitute as grounds for secret sharing? If that is the case then individuals such as Chiyangwa should be labelled ‘Gamatox’ as it was Cde. Mutasa who was instrumental in having him reinstated to the Party upon his dismissal.
“The truth of the matter is that my ouster was not effected in the best interests of the Province and as a result they will forever be haunted. I am probably the most effective Chairperson the Province has had the pleasure of being elected and the error of their judgement will rumble long and loudly in the annals of Mashonaland West’s history.”
