Reports say ZIFA is back at the Prophetic Healing and Deliverance (PHD) Ministries with a begging bowl, seeking funds to fulfil this weekend’s Warriors fixture against Comoros.
The Warriors face Comoros in a CHAN qualifier and preparations have ‘as has become the norm’ been characterised by a cold war between the players and the local football governing body.
With the PHD Ministries and its leader, Prophet Walter Magaya having bailed out the Warriors for the trip to Malawi last weekend, out of favour Cuthbert Dube’s ZIFA, now seem determined to turn Magaya’s church into a cash cow.
Only four players are in camp for the Comoros match and the rest are understood to have pressed the ‘enough is enough’ button, after what they deem a countless of empty promises during previous national assignments.
Earlier today, Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa told parliament that the Sport and Recreational Commission (SRC) has not yet approached the government on the problems facing local football.

  1. Magaya must be careful how uses money contributed by believers in the name of God and entrusted to him . If I were him I would be very much afraid of spending that money according to my wishes ignoring the will of God. Lest he may see a writing on the wall like Balthazar in the book of Daniel who after getting drunk and over excited , took holy utensils looted from the temple of God and used them for the party.

  2. What about the huge Salary Mr Curtbert Dube earns?….where is it coming from?…. and where is it going to?…..
