War Veterans leader Jabulani Sibanda, has spoken in the wake of reports claiming he has been removed from his powerful job for bunking Grace Mugabe’s rallies.
Mr Sibanda told ZimEye in an exclusive interview Saturday the people claiming to have suspended him are confused, desperate ‘goblins’ who are not even members of the war veterans association. He told ZimEye‘s Simbarashe Chikanza there is no substance in the state media reports saying he has been kicked out simply because he did not attend Grace Mugabe’s rallies and did not turn up at her Mazowe farm meeting with war vets. He has already received support from the rest of ZANU PF heavyweights including Mash West Chairman Temba Mliswa who praised him for being a hard worker who was actually conducting scheduled ZimAsset workshops across Matebeleland. J.S: That is part of the nonsense, these people are not even part of the association. I don’t even take it seriously. They have been put there by someone.
SC: Do you know the people who made these statements?
J.S: They are not even in our association; If you ask any member of our association(sic). I have more support and am not threatened by anything.
SC : Have they informed you that they have suspended you?
J.S: They don’t have any channel to do that, that’s why they have gone to the press; the only way they can show their foolishness. There is nothing like that.
SC: What about allegations that you are part of the Mujuru camp?
J.S: I’m not in any camp, I didn’t attend the rallies of [Mai Mugabe] because I was busy doing [party work]. FULL INTERVIEW FOLLOWS…

Another faction has emerged: Zvifukuto/Impehlane, Gamatox and the latest one is Goblins/ONtokolotsha or okungoNdofa. They include none other than Mlala, boNyaruwata ki ki ki ki ki who just borrowed words from Zapu calling themselves elders of the war veterans a jargon that does not exist in the War Veterans Association or Zanupf. Its great fun to see the confusion in the party. It truely resembles the dying of a jongwe whose head has been suddenly chopped off and it jumps here and there!!!!!!!!
