1. What did Tsvangirayi do for the poor in general? Nothing, instead he developed his own mother’s home with an irrigation project. Unlike great people like Brother Fidel Castro who nationalised his own mother’s farm first for the good of every one. Tsvangirayi paid a lot of money to women he divorced about $300 000.00. How many poor people would have benefitted if he had given a $1000 each to them? 300 families would have been better off. If he had given $500 each 600 poor families or blind individuals would have benefited. We need leaders with the poor people in general at heart and Tsvangirayi is not one of them. For starters I think it’s really sad and unfair for you to come and classify Tsvangirayi in the same bracket as these other Zanu rebels. Tsvangirayi played his role in as much as trying to unsit mug a be is concerned. Secondly how is one supposed to to show he has the poor at heart.
