Six people are feared dead after a bloody accident occurred near an army barracks along the Harare road, Bulawayo.
The accident was all caused a police chase as ZRP cops pursued the driver for a spot fine, ZimEye.com can reveal.
The accident scene is on the outskirts of Park Lanes close to the dreaded Bred Barracks and soldiers were at the scene taking “selfies”.
The whole road was blocked on Thursday morning as police battled to rescue the casualities.
The accident was caused by a police chase after a Toyota Ipsum sped from marauding cops.
The Toyota tried to make a U-turn in front of a haulage truck while being chased by the police resulting in the horrific crash.
Witnesses told ZimEye.com the ZRP cops are “brooding for cash and in a short road distance of less than 8 kilometres they have mounted over six road blocks.”

Please Mr Reporter stop blaming the police. I pass through that Central Road Block each morning and all those policeman do is to check on the safeness of the vehicle for us passengers. If you said a B Car, maybe it will be very understable. Honestly how can you make a risk u turn infront of an oncoming vehicle? It was terrible as l passed through there, may God comfort their loved ones and their souls RIP
