Msika snubs PF ZAPU meeting
By Vusi Moyo
Bulawayo- Drama continues to unfold
in Bulawayo as ZAPU continues to distance itself further away from ZANU PF.
On Saturday, another twist rolled up in the Second capital city as Vice
president Joseph Msika snubbed a PF ZAPU revival meeting claiming to have
fallen ill disappointing an estimated crowd of about 3000 supporters and war
veterans.
Among those in attendance was Dumiso Dabengwa who is tipped to be the leader of this party that is being reformed to fight for the rights of the people of Matabeland. The meeting was called off around four o'clock on Saturday after a pro-Zanu group threatened to beat up the PF ZAPU revivalists who were now taking turns to call for the late Joshua Nkomo's party to be reformed. Failed politician Sikhanyiso Ndlovu also got on the stage and said
"Lets simply ask for our rights from within ZANU PF"
However, he was immediately cut short by a booing crowd that called him the worst of names with some even shouting
''Shona go back to Mberengwa!'
The meeting was also well monitored by operatives of the CIO who expected Msika to drop a bomb as big as what Dumiso Dabengwa dropped when he joined Simba Makoni's Mavambo project.
