Barely a few days after a record protest was ruthlessly crushed by police in Harare, the Restoration Of Human Rights organisation, has moved on to open two new branches in Manchester and Newcastle, vowing to defy the oppression and abuse of Zimbabwe’s police force by the Zimbabwean government.

Manchester(ZimEye)-Barely a few days after a record protest was ruthlessly crushed by police in Harare, the Restoration Of Human Rights organisation, has moved on to open two new branches in Manchester and Newcastle, vowing to defy the oppression and abuse of the police force by the Zimbabwean government.
Speaking at the official opening of ROHR in Manchester, founding member and Chairman Mr Ephraim Tapa, the vehemently spoke out his disgruntlement at the direction in which the Zimbabwe cabinet talks have taken.
"Zimbabwe does not a sharing of power. What Zimbabwe needs instead is a radical empowerment of the people"

The meeting which attracted an attendance from many Zimbabweans from various places surrounding Greater Manchester who filled up the hall area at Afewe Club in Hulme, also saw the election of a sitting committee of leaders.
Moses Nyagotsi, who was elected Chairman for the new Manchester branch, voiced concern about the lack of unity among Zimbabwean nationals in the UK as compared to other nationalities. He urged Zimbabweans to revise their approach.
On Sunday, another meeting is scheduled for Newcastle where many Zimbabweans are expected to attend as well.
ROHR Zimbabwe is a non political organization, who's members are passionate and committed to bringing about change in Zimbabwe. ROHR vows to strongly subscribe to the founding principles of returning Zimbabwe to the apex of human rights vanguard and an economic power house on regional and international levels
