Under 19 rugby team storm the finals of world championships qualifiers

The Zimbabwe Under 19 rugby team is now in the final of the the qualifier for next years world championship following a 22-0 drubbing of the Ivory Coast. The team which beat the hosts Tunisia in the opening match will now meet rivals Namibia over the weekend.
Namibia last year beat Zimbabwe 23-20 in a tightly contested tie in Kampala, but the Zimbabwean coach Brighton Chivandire says the odds are in their favour to win this tie.
“They are a difficult side to beat but we have experience at our side. Some of the players in the side took part at the world cup last year. We will try and move the ball around and bank on the experience,” he said.
With only a single spot for Africa at the world championships, a victory is the only guarantee for the teams brush with the world stars. Pressure is mounting on the side but Chivandire says they are taking it within the stride.
“We have been under pressure especially with everything happening with the senior side but we hope to do well this weekend and bring a smile back home,” he said.
The match is on this Saturday.
