has come too late for Zimbabwe- Ephraim Tapa
Coventry(ZimEye) 'South Africa has come too late', the President of (ROHR) Restoration Of Human Rights organisation has lamented, commenting on how it will be more difficult for SADC to restore Zimbabwe from its political distresses.
Tapa was speaking at the opening of ROHR in Coventry for the first time. Addressing specifically to ANC President Jacob Zuma's recent declaration that Zimbabwe's leaders must not leave South Africa before a deal is reached, Ephraim Tapa scoffed at South Africa's frantic efforts to salvage a situation which has gone beyond repair.
'Whatever came out of the September 15 is not at all what the people of Zimbabwe want....We believe that there are still so many challenges in this deal. And it is distressing to note that this is the only the beginning of the problems. There are more things, greater areas of conflict that are embedded in the agreement' Mr Tapa detailed to the ZimEye.
A record 111 persons flooded the city's Jasy Wood pub giving the city possibly the most Zimbabwean 'quake' ever. Between 1300 and 1500 hours, the city coach and bus station received large numbers of people coming in from in and around Coventry on their way to the Jasy Wood to attend the ROHR historic function (More Photos Below)
